Work Packages Descriptions

WP 1

This work package covers the management, co-ordination and quality assurance activities of the project and will run throughout the project lifetime. The main objective is to ensure the successful completion of the project goals in a timely manner, within budget and with quality standards that meet at least those set by RESTART 2016-2020 Program. This general objective comprises the following more specific ones:

  • Defining project direction and objectives.
  • Establishing a strong project management scheme.
  • Establishing the appropriate communication and reporting to the RIF.
  • Scheduling and organising project meetings, coordinating their organisation and execution.
  • Defining and monitoring quality standards and procedures.
  • Defining and implementing the communication procedures to be followed within the project and with external agents.

WP 2

The main objectives of this WP are to:

  • Develop the mechanisms for efficient communication and dissemination of the results
  • Raise public and stakeholder awareness regarding the vision and goals of the project
  • Organise scientific workshops and participate in clustering events and exhibitions
  • Identify the key exploitable results of the project and support the future commercial exploitation by providing a Go-to- Market and Exploitation strategy for the members of the Consortium.

WP 3

The main objectives of this WP are to:

  • Document the real-world needs of end users in the agriculture domain and map them to key technological solutions that will be part of the final architecture.
  • Design in detail the use case which will support the validation of the project’s activities including the demonstration scenario of the finalised system.
  • Define a reference architecture that will successfully address the needs of the use case while at the same time provide the flexibility to be easily scaled and replicated in similar deployment scenarios.

WP 4

The main objectives of this WP are:

  • Detailed test specifications of the activities to be performed within the pilot testing of the system.
  • Integration and orchestration of the various components and platforms towards the final pilot implementation, testing and validation of the CyCROP precision agriculture solution.
  • Pilot implementation
  • Evaluation of results and viability assessment.

WP 5

The main objectives of this WP are to:

  • Develop the mechanisms for efficient communication and dissemination of the results
